Planning for 2009
Posted on 05. Jan, 2009 by Kimberly in Blog, business
Well I suppose you are wondering why I am writing about planning for 2009 when it is January 5th, 2009 already: I take the time over my holidays to think, reconsider, plan, get creative, bounce ideas off of colleagues and so on. So, this has allowed me to really take the time I need to just allow my brain to relax after a very busy fall and winter 2008, and put my teeth into 2009 with renewed brain power and great aspects that will be infiltrated into my business this year. What are they you ask? Well, I am still finishing up how they will emerge but I will tell you this, I am very excited about them indeed.
Taking time for a brain break has been part of my holiday routine for a few years now, and I am so glad I started that habit, as I tend to get really worn out after a few very intense months of coding, design and consulting.
I can tell you this, this year will be a great year for small business and will allow many of us to shrug-off the economic statements that we are all inn trouble as business owners. It is what you want, not what others tell you.You know in your heart-of-hearts what you will do this year and how you will make that happen. Be bold, courageous and daring but most of all, be true to yourself. No one can ask for more. You tend to be most successful when you do not have to work at who you will be.
