A Podcast is basically an on-demand radio show produced by someone interested in a specific topic. It is very much like a blog, just that it’s audio, or actually most of the time combines the two as in the case of this Podcast. Even though the name might suggest differently, a Podcast is not limited to the iPod, it can in fact be played on any media player as it’s in the good old trusty MP3 format. You can either download the individual MP3 files linked from the site, or you can use a program such as iTunes to automatically keep you updated by subscribing to the podcast’s RSS feed (RSS 2.0 Feed)
Which Podcast Software?
I personally prefer iTunes and iPodder. They’re both pretty straight forward to use.
Podcast Software
The software of choice is Apple’s iTunes (available for Mac & Win) – with iTunes you can subscribe to the show with one single click of the mouse (how?)
If you prefer to use something else, here’s a list of podcast readers at PodcastAlley.com:
My recommendation is to use iTunes. If you prefer something else, I recommend
iPodder (Win & Mac versions available)
Get the show automatically!

The easiest way is to use iTunes! In the iTunes built-in Podcast directory, enter photography in the search box, then click on the “subscribe” button and you’re all set.
After installing iTunes, simply click here and on the resulting page click “subscribe”:
If you prefer to use something else than iTunes, here’s other ways to automatically get the show:
It’s easy, just use the RSS feed and you’re all set.
You will need an RSS reader in order to get automatic updates, and some of them even support automatically downloading the embedded MP3 files.
