I like to have a pretty minimal desktop and dock, so here is a way to increase productivity on your MAC but having visual separators in your dock, enabling you to group your dock apps by use.

The ‘Open With’ menu often gets full of junk. The above command, which must be pasted/typed as a single line, clears it out and starts again.
Dashboard KickStart

This application runs in the background and reacts to the starting or re-starting of the Dock. When that happens it initiates the starting of the Dashboard. This prevents the delay you’ll experience when launching Dashboard the first time you want to use it.
